Since the 1970s, Tri Delta members have supported children's cancer charities. This philanthropic cause encompasses a wide array of charitable organizations and represents the collective effort of Tri Delta members and chapters across North America who continue to donate goods, volunteer time and host fundraisers for the research and treatment of children with cancer.

As part of Tri Delta's focus on children's cancer charities, Tri Delta formed a national philanthropic partnership with St. Jude Children’s R

in 1999.This partnership is a direct reflection of Tri Delta's Purpose in action as we help children live, scientists learn, and St. Jude lead in its mission of finding cures for childhood cancer and other life-threatening diseases.

In July 2014, Tri Delta made the largest single fundraising commitment by a St. Jude partner in the hospital's history–pledging $60 million in 10 years. Because of this commitment, Tri Delta has received prominent recognition on the St. Jude campus with the naming of the short-term housing facility, Tri Delta Place

​

A combined effort of our collegiate and alumnae chapters, along with the unselfish leadership of each individual member and our extensive network of family and friends, makes Tri Delta ranked as one of St. Jude’s top corporate partners alongside for-profit industry leaders like Target, Best Buy, Chili’s, FedEx and Domino’s.
